Resort

Earlier this week Gucci presented a new Resort collection. When Frida Giannini made her debut at Gucci seven years ago, she did so through a flora print accessory range. It seems here that this collection is reinterpreting the Flora print with a seventies twist, including skinny flares and long jackets. I simply adore the fit and cut of each piece and the soft pastel colours. My weakness for simplicity is probably why I was drawn to this collection, along with the thought of how fabulous it would feel to wear the apple floor length at any event this summer. Of course I had to display the monochrome looks first, as I just cant seem to pull myself away from either shade. I'm currently looking for a short suit in a cream/white (probably not wise) but after seeing the trouser suit, my mind has ben swayed, not too smart as I previously thought, and surprisingly feminine.
