Red on Black.

1. Nike Air Pegasus 30 Red
2. Nike Air Maxim 1 SP Black Leather
3. NikeLunar Terra Safari
4. Nike Cortez NM QS Gym Red
5. Nike Lunar Terra Safari

I've been after some new trainers for a while, the last pair I bought was at the end of summer and really, I'm due a new pair. These are some picks, ones i've been lusting over for quite a while [1&2] and some newbies that have just popped up through trawling the internet [4]. Unsure wether the reason I'm obsessing over red is because its Christmas, but it's a colour that isn't currently on the shoe rack... and needs to be. I'll do my usual rummaging around sites to try and find any of these a fraction of the price, but think my luck for doing that was over when I nabbed a pair of Air Force 1s for £20.

Brand Spot: Jacquemus

I came across the brand Jacquemus for the first time this summer in the Wood Wood store in Berlin. I spotted an amazing netted white shirt which was the first thing that caught my eye and as I went to have a little feel of the fabric, the Jacquemus tag inside the shirt was another great addition. Something about that bold blocked text. Anyway I have been meaning to blog about him for a while but didn't get round to it, and very conveniently he showed his SS14 collection today in the beautiful Paris. I did not stop liking images of his collection on my Instagram feed for a good half an hour. Decide for yourself but I think his designs are extremely wearable and to be honest I want it all, especially that perfect cobalt short suit.

There's that dreamy shirt.

Theres a lot to like about this parisian based label, the laid back boxy shapes are feminine with that always needed sense of masculinity. The clinical looking jackets being re-worked into cobalt blues and candy cane pinks gave the show a fresh feel and the pop of colour is much needed after seasons of strictly monochrome.

Challenging Wang.

Trousers: Zara
Top: Topshop
Shoes: Birkenstock
Bag: Micheal Kors
Sunglasses: Marks & Spencer

Having just got back from Spain a couple of days ago it feels strange wearing my holiday clothes back in England every day! I do love it though. In this type of weather its either shorts and trainers or maxi's and Birkenstocks [nothing I love more than a pair of grandad shoes] for me, these apple green trousers from Zara are amazing even though they look like a skirt, so comfy and pyjama like. I can only lust over Alexander Wangs sheer white panelled pieces, but this Topshop crop is a perfect substitute for a fraction of the price. Strangely unexpected that M&S have some lovely sunglasses in their collection this summer... looks like there are benefits for taking your nan shopping.

Beetle Juice

Leather Jacket: Zara
 Black crop: COW Vintage
 Striped trousers: COW Vintage
 Rucksack: Grafea
      Jewellery: H&M, Nelly & Vintage

I had a little raid of COW before I left Nottingham for the summer and came out with these, I love wearing the striped trousers, they're like pyjama bottoms. I can't help but buy white this summer so most of the outfits i'm wearing are monochrome & it's just great that my trusty New Balance happen to go with everything. I received the rucksack as a gift for my 21st last month after lusting after it for over a year, and I really haven't took it off my back since I got it.

Run Away.

Natalia Brilli chain choker necklace

You can't possibly go wrong with black and white, and these Kurt Geiger wedges are ones i've had my eye on for a while and they're now in the sale! Along with the Zara clutch. Being a bargain hunter it is difficult to try and save for these trips i've got coming up when there putting things like this in the sale.

Resort 2014

A.L.C

Cedric Charlier

Emmanuel Ungaro

DKNY

Chloe

Alexander Wang

Looking through the resort collections for 2014, I am loving the mix of smart with sport. I'm all for leather look crops and pretty much anything with a simple missing back which is why I've chosen the looks from A.L.C. Cedric Charlier is a brand that I have never really taken much notice of, but from this resort collection it is definitely someone I will be following and keeping an eye on in future seasons. Normally i'm a fan of short suits but the neon yellow suit in particular, I adore. The casual aesthetic, with the high waisted trouser makes it so wearable with the high neck meshed top underneath. Along with pretty much everything from the Wang resort, two of my favourite outfits are the white on white high waisted panelled look from Chloe and the DKNY smart/sport combination. Mixing the two creates a nice balance, you can either throw a pair of trainers on, or a chunky pair of wedges, and the outfit will still look fab. These are my wish list looks for the next coming months.

LC:M SS14

Bobby Abley

Jonathan Saunders

Lou Dalton

Spencer Hart

After just getting back from Sonar festival a few days ago i've been keeping up with the Menswear London Collections for SS14. I'm a big fan of incorporating a menswear aesthetic into my own style and a few of these looks would be perfect in my wardrobe. A few favourites are from Bobby Abley, sending down some fabulous sportswear inspired mesh tops, with boxy shapes and roll necks along with that ombre style bomber from Jonathan Saunders.. it just looks so perfect! The short cut outs from Spencer Hart are a little bit of a twist on the cut out biker boots we've been seeing on the high street this summer, they seem a little more practical anyway, more room for them toes to breathe.
