Not only do I adore the collection from Marc Jacobs, but the makeup on the models, particularly the eyebrows was just stunning. The thicker, the better. Since watching this show I've actually gone out to MAC and bought the whole kit for my eyebrows, transferring from the eyebrow pencil which i've been religiously using for the past 3 years. Watching, I felt like I was at a Bridget Riley exhibition, the overload of stripes was so powerful, mixed with a 1960's attitude. Marc Jacobs said in an interview how he wanted to achieve "force" with this collection, and that he did, each look was just as forceful as the next. A favourite part for me was the triangular herd of Edie Sedgwick inspired models cementing themselves at a stand still in the finally. Looking forward to filling my wardrobe with even more graphic and vertical stripes.
