Came across stylist Celestine Cooney after researching into set designer, and illustrator Gary Card. He mentioned that he had worked with her on his first ever project for Dazed & Confused, which involved a flower headpiece that he had created. Looking at Celestines styling, I really am fond of her work. The simplicity and realness to the shots is quite inspiring. Taken in her own home, with minimal props and very basic colour schemes she manages to create a story, a broken, carefree lifestyle attitude from the model in the images. The styling manages to turn what would seem like languid poses into interesting angles and very intriguing. Originally from the Irish countryside, I personally feel that this just adds to her uniqueness. Find some more of her work here.
